Ty's Take
Sunday afternoon brought two separate wrecks to our roads within hours of each other—one near Norwood, another involving a local teenager—and if that stretch of pavement didn't already have your attention, it should now. We've had enough close calls on those highways to know the pattern: good weather, decent roads, and drivers who think they know the curves better than they do. Howell County's got some fine emergency responders, and they've proven it more than once this weekend, but the real lesson isn't about who shows up fast when things go wrong. It's about the fifteen seconds you save by pushing it through that S-turn, and whether it's worth what you leave behind.
