Ty's Take

Road work on Sixth Street isn't the kind of headline that stops anybody's heart, but if you're one of the folks who cuts through there to get to the north side of town, or if you're running a business along that stretch, it matters more than most people realize. Rolla's been growing slow and steady for twenty years now, and keeping the arteries open counts for something. The university brings traffic in from all directions, the forest brings weekenders, and the regular business of a county seat doesn't stop for construction. So yeah, expect delays, plan around it, and remember that whoever's out there working isn't doing it to ruin your Wednesday. These things take time, but they matter.
