A year in and New Mexico's state park pass for veterans is doing what it was supposed to do, getting folks who served this country out into country that's worth serving. The daylight saving time debate keeps churning through Congress like it always does, and around here most people have long since stopped caring which way the clocks go as long as somebody figures it out and sticks with it. Meanwhile Sam Neill, who played that paleontologist running through dinosaur country back in '93, passed at 78. Not local news, but the kind of thing that makes you realize how much time has moved whether we're changing the clocks or not.
