Ty's Take

A woman faces murder charges in a killing at the Spa Hot Springs, another family buries two sisters lost to road accidents, and somewhere in this county right now a family is grieving—the kind of grief that doesn't make the job postings or the playground equipment upgrades feel like much comfort. We're a growing place, they tell us, top ten for jobs, energy projects humming along, and those things are real enough. But Billings also carries the weight of its tragedies, the ones that change a family forever and the ones that linger in small moments before folks remember they've got to move forward anyway. Good to see the Heritage Center keeping our stories alive. We might need them more than ever.
