Ty's Take
Primary numbers are in across the valley, and what jumps out isn't who won—it's how many folks didn't show up to the ballot box. We talk a lot around here about having a say in how things run, about keeping an eye on the county commissioners and what they're doing with water rights and land use. But when the moment comes to mark a ballot, the turnout tells a different story, one that whispers louder than any campaign sign ever could. The commissioners are right to let voters decide on their own term limits come Monday, but first they might want to ask themselves why so many of us didn't bother deciding anything at all.
