Ty's Take
A sentencing like Henry Moe's sits heavy in a valley this size—everybody knows somebody who knows somebody, and the details don't stay private long. What matters now is that the system worked, that kids are safer, and that this community can move past it without the poison spreading further. The rest of the week offers what we need: Crys Matthews coming to Society Hall to remind us there's still beauty and meaning worth fighting for, KRZA's spring fund drive keeping local voices on the air, and teachers getting recognized for showing up every day in classrooms where they're doing the real work. That's how small towns heal—you acknowledge the darkness, then you turn toward the light and support the people keeping it burning.
